A lot of colleges and universities are trying to cut their utility costs by generating their own energy. It looks like the University of Oklahoma is taking a new approach.

Well, they do have Bob Stoops. That’s enough for half the campus right there.

Cool! Look at that environmental progress coming from smack dab in the middle of Red State America!!!

We had lots of extra wind here on Sunday…

Hey Cur - he does back it up, though. Especially that first saturday in Oct . . . but maybe not so much in bowl games lately. Maybe they can get that straightened out this year.

Curmudgeon - them’s fightin’ words! Being an OU grad and an Okie native, I can attest to the fact that the wind blows all the time, so this sounds feasible.

over30, my best motorcycle riding buddy (maybe 30 multi-day trips together) and his siblings paid a few hundred thou’ to get their family name over some doorway at the revered stadium (or some football related facility, maybe the 24hr ATM ;)). I asked him what he was doing Saturday and he said “watching my team”. I told him I knew dang well it wasn’t a College Quiz Bowl team. He didn’t think that was too funny either. ;)

Was it the Gate 23 corndog stand?
Tell him thanks for the support, since I certainly can’t provide it.
