U of R vs RIT financial aid

<p>I was wondering if anyone had applied to and been accepted to both U of R and RIT in Rochester and if so which gave a better financial aid package.</p>

<p>I had heard that both institutions were rather stingy with aid but I am unsure of the accuracy of that information.</p>

<p>Of course I know it depends on individual circumstances, but any information on aid would be helpful.</p>

<p>I don’t know myself but several of my friends that were accepted to U of R couldn’t afford to go because they got very very little aid</p>

<p>Yes, I had heard the same about U of R- that in general they are pretty tight-fisted with their aid. I had heard similar stories about RIT as well though.</p>
