Please tell us about specific academic, service, and/or research opportunities at the University of Pennsylvania that resonate with your background, interests, and goals." 400-650 words
Can someone with college essay familiarity/success provide any tips as to how to tackle this project?
My D will be applying in the fall for the Wharton School
Any tips are appreciated</p>
<p>Well, for the “Why this school” essay questions, my d started by listing all the reasons why she is considering this school. Then, she tried to find something that she had done to connect her passions to each specific reason. Then, she flushed it out and went in depth, writing about each reason and passion in an individual paragraph. Then, she chose the paragraph she felt could be turned into an essay and wrote about it. She got into Wharton, but deferred her acceptance. She will be taking a gap year and going to a LAC in the fall of 2015</p>
