U.S. News 2012 Rankings Preview--National Liberal Arts Colleges

The top 10 LACs in alpha order are:
Amherst College (MA)
Bowdoin College (ME)
Carleton College (MN)
Claremont McKenna College (CA)
Haverford College ¶
Middlebury College (VT)
Pomona College (CA)
Swarthmore College ¶
Wellesley College (MA)
Williams College (MA)

So we know that Davidson has dropped out of the top ten and has been replaced with Claremont McKenna. Other than that, the top 10 remains the same.

The most interesting changes always take place between 13 and 25.

Sup bro?

Totally agreed–Amherst is the most alpha LAC.

It looks like the Claremont Colleges continue to move up, CMK knocked out Davidson College from the top 10.

Agree with xiggi. The top ten LACs rarely move more than one place (up or down), if at all.

Does someone have the 2011 rankings on hand so that we can make comparisons?
