<p>can somebody explain to me how the architecture studies program works?
I applied to UW’s architecture studies program, but somehow, the website says the program admits students in the spring quarter, i don’t quite get how this works…

<p>My quick read is that you can be admitted to the university as a arch studies major but spend the first year or so in preparation for the major. Actually finishing the junior and senior years of the major require special approval. Meaning anyone can get admitted to start the major freshman year, but you have to earn your way into finishing the major.</p>
