<p>Moving target, indeed. Last year’s CDS showed the 75% SAT at 1210, not mean, and an average matriculated gpa of 3.42, Highly unlikely the numbers in the article will hold – it’s just too big a jump for one year.</p>
<p>But barrons, I’ve always wondered why U-Dub accepts so many OOS kids…tuition money? [I know quite a kids at our Calif HS who apply each year.]</p>
<p>They would like more OOS students overall. Not the money so much unless they are smarter than I think.</p>
<p>It seems like UW is getting harder and harder to get in every year. And yes, the new numbers seem suspicious. Do you think UW is suffering from Tufts Syndrome?</p>
<p>I know a lot of my friends had amazing stats and did not get it. I might be in trouble this fall. :/</p>
