U Washington, U Penn, and Dartmouth

Hi guys,

I’m currently a sophomore in high school, and for a really long time my dream schools have been U Penn and (even higher) Dartmouth. I also know that I will probably end up going to U Washington. I’ve been searching this Chance forum for info on U Penn, Dartmouth, and U Washington, and being a sophomore in high school the college talks are starting to come up…So, I’m wondering what kind of GPA, scores, and ECs are “enough” for these three schools? (esp. the ECs, cause I’m always afraid that my ECs are too weak)

Please don’t just answer that U Penn and Dartmouth are reaches for everyone. I want to know almost like an example profile of someone who have been accepted to these schools.

Thank you

I can only say for U Washington: they want rigorous course loads, ~3.7/1900 will make you competitive as long as you can have two or three ECs with a dedication.

If you want accepted profiles, go on the Dartmouth and UPenn forums and they both should have threads with stats of accepted/rejected students.

@Catria: is 3.7/1900 GPA/SAT scores?
