<p>Yeah she was waiting with us while we waited the agonizing 30 minutes for the list to go up.
So, David and I remember being told we may find out in a week! Can anyone else corroborate this?</p>
<p>They told the parents that the kids would hear in a month…but my D says they told her within 1 week, too.</p>
<p>If the past has any bearing on the present process given the changes that have occurred, students that the school wanted without any reservation and those that were rejected outright heard within 2 weeks of their audition. Others who were in the “undecided” category heard at various times up through the beginning of April. Good luck to every one who has recently auditioned.</p>
<p>They mentioned something about going to a paperless system. So I assume we will be hearing via email.</p>
<p>I asked that question after my S’s 12/6 audition and was told we would hear via regular old-fashioned mail which we did. They said at that audition they hoped to have all notifications out before the holiday break which I think was 12/19. However, we did not hear until after the holidays on 1/10. My S’s acceptance included a generous scholarship so don’t despair if two weeks pass. Of course thie holiday break could have impacted on the timeframes.</p>
<p>D received a “Waitlist” letter today from UArts…</p>
<p>TXKatsmom- Congrats to your D for getting wait listed! I auditioned in December and also got wait listed. What I have heard is that being put on the list is rare, and that they try NOT to wait list people as much as possible. So even though your daughter and I are wait listed, there are not too more that were waitlisted. Good luck to her!</p>

<p>I have not heard anything!?!?! I’ve heard of people getting accepted, rejected, and wait listed and I’ve heard nothing! Gah!</p>
<p>I got my acceptance letter today! I also got a nice amount of money from the ‘Promising Artist Scholarship!’</p>

<p>Thanks for all the great info. It has really helped in making a decision and I’m pretty sure my D will be accepting for MT in the fall. She auditioned in Chicago…very quick process…and she did throw in a 1 minute dance solo. It was her first audition at the Unifieds…she was accepted by mail 2 week later. We will check in on the facebook site and be in touch once it’s all set in stone. You all have really excited us for the things to come!</p>
