UArts Invited to Kennedy Center

<p>It is with great pleasure that I inform you of the invitation extended to the University’s School of Theatre Arts to reprise their October production of Mark Blitzstein’s “THE CRADLE WILL ROCK” at the Kennedy Center’s Region II American College Theatre Festival, under the direction of Dr Patricia Raine. This historic musical depicts the tension in labor relations during Depression-era America.
This is the third consecutive year in which SOTA has been chosen for this honor, and the fourth time in five years – a clear acknowledgment of the quality of our programs. Our previous productions of “Brecht on Brecht,” directed by Rick Stoppleworth, Arthur Miller’s “The American Clock,” directed by guest artist Ken Marini and “Venus,” directed by Johnnie Hobbs, Jr …</p>
