UC and USC admissions + decisions help ??

I know this is a bit early considering admissions won’t be posted until late March for most of these schools, but I’m already stressing about making a decision. I’m an out of state applicant (from IL) and applied to USC, UCLA, UCB, UCD, UCSD, UCSB, and UCSC.
ACT: 31

  • math: 33
  • english:33
  • reading: 30
  • science:27
    Unweighted GPA: 3.96
Involved in Math Honor’s Society + tutoring, National Honors Society, National Spanish Honors Society, Spanish Club, Vice President of student council, Junior year student body VP, Best buddies, have a part time job, and a few more things I can’t think of off the top of my head like service projects + classes outside of school. All of my classes are either honors or AP.
I Worked fairly hard on my essays.
Berkeley sent me a request for a LOC but I’m not sure exactly what that means for me. And then I had an interview with USC which went decently well I think. I know many of these schools are selective, especially being an out of state applicant so I’m just wondering based off these few stats what you think my chances are for each school??
I’m mostly undecided and then applied for the new Speculative Design program at UCSD and am intending to go into something media design related at the moment, but like I said am mostly undecided so I don’t necessarily want to base my decision off of my major. I visited most of these campuses besides Davis but they were all on spring break so i didnt really see many students and the campuses were pretty dead.
I loved Santa Barbara, obviously its beautiful, but I want to go somewhere with a mix between fun and a good social life + a good undergraduate education. Obviously USC UCLA and Berkeley are the most selective, challenging and highly regarded but I’m worried about being unhappy, not being smart enough, not having a good social life, etc (if i get in). I want an overall great experience!!
Advice/ reviews on these schools regarding social life, parties, classes, difficulty, dorms, food, anything at all would be greatly appreciated! Just looking for good useful information

You may be overthinking this. The stress of waiting is getting to all of us !
Look at each university independently. If you visit the campus, what does your gut say? How do you feel when you are visiting the campus?

If you get accepted, then you are smart enough to be there. Don’t put yourself down.
College is what you make of it. Its a time to explore new classes and ideas. Check out various clubs, etc. There is something for everyone. Be confident in yourself and give yourself permission to explore who you really are. If you go to San Diego, take surfing for P.E. Try an art class that you know nothing about. Join a club. Check out greek life during rush. Attend campus events, especially at the beginning of the year. And remember… all of the freshmen in your dorm are probably feeling the same nervousness that you are.
There is a social life at every college. Go find it !
