UC App questions

I have several questions about the UC Application before I submit it:

 1. I plan on taking a 5-unit course in my local community college (Pre-Calculus – Math 170) during the spring semester of 2005. How would I enter the course in the Academic History section? Also, do I select the Pre-Calculus class from the drop down box or do I manually enter it as something else such as Math 170 – Pre-Calculus? Also, do I count as a CL (college level) course in the honor status column?

 2. I took the SAT I: Reasoning Test twice and got the same composite score (ie: 700V/600M first time, and 600V/700M second time), but I scored differently on both sections each time. Which score would I input in the Test Results section? Would it really matter since I will be using Collegeboard’s test score sending service?

Thanks.

i think someone else who asked your second q elsewhere got this answer: to put the highest math and verbal score individually. i would agree.

I believe UC app. states that the test score must be from a SINGLE test–not a combined score. In that case, the only consideration would be which single sitting score (as they are both the same) highlights you better…V or M? Good Luck.

You can only put the score from one single testing.

I am already aware that you have in put the score from one single setting.

That was my initial assumption but I was looking for a more confirmed method. Thanks anyways.

Can anyone answer my first question?

Anybody?..

They don’t look at sent scores now, only after you’re accepted. So they’ll look at whatever score you put down. Whatever is good for your major (math or verbal.)

shoot i’m screwed… i put my nov scores down but my math score was 20 pts lower than in oct… and i plan to major in math

am i okay?
