I know, I have waited awhile- but thats just who I am.

For the prompts, Prompt #1 (freshman applicants)

Describe the world you come from for example, your family, community or school and tell us how your world has shaped your dreams and aspirations.

I was going to describe where I work- a restaurant, and how the difficult and time consuming work allowed me to transform into a mature young adult capable of managing school work and heavy work load. Also i was going to talk about how my experience working there has led me to realize why it is so important to pursue my dreams of becoming a teacher and a college graduate now, and not end up working at a dead end job. While i do love and enjoy everyone i work with, they all persuade me to do everything they didn’t in order to not end up working as a server in a restaurant. Something along those lines? Any good?

Prompt 2-
Tell us about a personal quality, talent, accomplishment, contribution or experience that is important to you. What about this quality or accomplishment makes you proud and how does it relate to the person you are?

this one i cant think of what i should do possible things include-

Quitting smoking pot, (don’t know if this is a total no no) and how that totally transformed my outlook on life, and my ability to push myself to further heights.

This might be a stretch, but for a talent, I was thinking about how when i started working I became enticed by the hostess making espresso drinks, and I decided to pursue it. I later found out that being a barista, or an espresso maker, is an extremely complex art and I dedicated myself to learning everything I could about espresso and making the best espresso drinks. I practiced every time I worked, and researched for hours and hours about the chemistry of the espresso process, and became an expert on the machine. The part I love about it most, is when the customer gets the coffee, and remarks how they have never seen a coffee so beautiful. It makes me extremely proud to have people come back to the restaurant and ask me specifically to make their coffee. Coffee will always be a soft spot of mine, and the way I make coffees directly relates to my outlook on life. I love to learn new things, and I will practice and practice until I become satisfied with my progress, and then i will strive for my next goal. Relating to college and school work, I always try to apply myself and leave the most positive reflection on my work as possible.
