what do you mean both?
Double majoring?

More details: I am not trying to cheat the system, trust me. In fact, I’m trying to make sure I make the right choice so it doesn’t look like I’m even vaguely cheating the system.
For Berkeley: I have no interest in Mass Comm, but this is all they offer and I’m only applying because, well it’s Berkeley. I’d much rather learn English or Philosophy or the like from such a strong liberal artsy college.

For UCLA: I intend on Comm, and this is my goal-- but I am wary of the admissions rate for it. I’m just asking… if I were to take a couple English classes in the following 2 quarters and complete the pre-reqs for it, would I be able to switch my choice of major after filing my application, but before decisions? Let’s just say I have a change of heart after taking some classes and just want to pursue English even at UCLA-- would it be a go?
