@Cheolf @goldencub Thank you!

How could Berkeley have rolling admissions if they stopped accepting apps months ago?
âThe changes regarding early notification and letters of recommendation do not apply to transfer applicants, who will learn of transfer decisions April 29.â
I guess we gotta wait till late AprilâŠ

@sdjournot I donât know, Iâm just going off that website. If it does throw me some love though!
Quick question: On the MyApplicationPortal (MAP), has anyone tried to click the âdisplayâ button on either the General Education or the Major Pre-req forms? When I do, it reads âRegistration is no longer available because the registration deadline has passed.â
Just wondering if this is the case for others or not. Thanks!
@keurimja Same here. You should still be able to update your TAU though.
@goldencub Great thanks! So itâs just waiting from here on out it seems. Best of luck!
@keurimja Yeah, itâs terrible. Only two and a half months! @-)
@goldencub Tell me about it D: Hopefully itâll all be worth itâŠ
73 more days.
I have a countdown on my phone lol
By the way, last year there werenât MAP but Myberkeleyapp and it allowed you to change your grade until April.
But this year, the design of application page has been totally changed and it no longer let you report your grade after Feb.
I didnât see the âHow many additional classes you need to reportâ section in last yearâs app site. Itâs weired they ask you but donât allow you to report.
I received an email from UC about FAFSA. It says " you should apply even if you think you are not qualified". Will applying FAFSA potentially affect the admission chance? In FAFSA, it needs us to list the school, does the sequence of schools matter? Thank you in advance!
FAFSA will not affect your admissions chances and sequence does not matter. They tell you to apply regardless because itâs much easier to receive an allocation for financial aid earlier rather than later in the year.
Could anyone elaborate on FAFSA not affecting admission chances. I have a concern that FAFSA does affect admission, although UC claims it doesnât (does the UC even claim FAFSA doesnât affect admission?). Itâs worth noting, that my concern lacks any evidence, simply an idea in my head.
@Pastas âAdmissions is need blind.â - UCB Admissions in a webinar. Financial need/status is not considered in the admissions process. Not sure what else youâre looking to hear.
Anyone know when more scholarship opportunities come up? I missed the CAL achievement award because I am an idiot. My parents recently filed their taxes differently and claimed more income somehow I guess so our 22k anuual income is now something like 50k but there hasnât exactly been an influx of money coming through our household. It seems like paying for school is going to be insanely hard next year.
So I was watching a webinar for 2015 fall Berkeley admissions and they brought up a form called âreading and composition questionnaireâ which is apparently used to determine if an out of state CC or 4 year colleges English classes cover the reading and composition requirements. I found the form online and it is mentioned in several brochures however it is not listed as a requirement anywhere else. Is this something that I should worry about or is this a form that should be sent in only if I am admitted? I was under the impression that transfer credits are not determined until post admissions and only once official transcripts have been received by the college.
How are my chances to get into Cal?

@krcausit You have a solid chance. The upward trend should work in your favor, and your PS seems compelling.
