I remember decisions coming out at 3:30 PST last year.
it should be after 4 since the admissions office will probably be close by then.
Guys please be happy with whatever happens! At the end of the day we are getting an Education! Our schools will not define us!!!
Anyone knows if it is hard to double-major or minor at Berkeley? I was aceepted by UCLA as a pre-psychology major and aimed to double-major in Econ. However, I called admission and was told that was highly unlikely, even though I have completed the pre-reqs of Econ as well.
@sammyclaire23 I’m a Philosophy major, but I completed two of the prerequisites for the English major. I was originally planning to double major in English and Philosophy, but I decided against it. I took the equivalents for Berkeley’s 45B and 45C. If I am admitted, I will likely minor in Russian Literature (it’s offered under the Slavic Languages and Literatures department).
Anyway, I’ve only heard good things about Cal’s English department. Obviously you have as well.

@Calvinwong: If you didn’t apply as an Econ major it’s very unlikely (near impossible even) to double major with Econ at Berkeley as well. Additionally Cal doesn’t offer a Econ minor.

@forshevchenko Luckily, the Russian Literature minor is all in English. There is a corresponding major that requires two years of Russian, but there’s no way I’d be able to do that, haha.
The mixture of me being deathly sick and the levels of anxiety I’m having is making the wait even more painful. Ugh.
I have a good feeling about my GPA and my essays but I only have a few note-worthy ECs. :((

Like others have mentioned–if we don’t get into Berkeley, we are still pursuing our educations, which is the most important thing.

I was being nosy and looked through the 2014 thread for fun, and the decisions seemed to come out around 3.
