Can I fight a rejection? I have a 4.0, all prereqs, great ECs, strong PS, got Regents candadicy at UCLA, and my major is Political Science. My friend with the same exact stats got in, and as a one year transfer as well.

@solostish Definitely call admissions on Monday. There has to be a specific reasons why you were rejected to have those stats for Political Science.
@screenname34 I emailed them already. God if this lead to a rejection I don’t even know. But this is not a pre-req or strongly recommended. idk
@solostish I was accepted with a 3.93 in Political Science and missing 1 pre-req. Definitely contact admissions and see what’s going on.
@BigPanda keep me in the loop please! I live next to campus so I’m going to talk to them Monday. So far there are 6 of us this has happened to, and I’m 100% confident I didn’t list the courses on my TAU so it’s highly unlikely we can be penalized for their fuckup

@solostish Definitely appeal. I need to do that for one of my schools I applied to as well. You never know. I doubt calling them over the phone will automatically reverse your decision and I doubt they’ll provide insightful information as to why you got rejected, besides the usual “tons of applicants, very competitive”
