does anybody know that if a grop a PE class and get a W will i get my acceptance revoked from UC Berkeley? Im freaking out! Just found out that i was accepted into spring 2017. i really thought i was gonna get a full rejection so i had decided to drop my PE class a few days ago. now its coming back to bite me in the butt. HELP please

The point for out-of-state students is that you can still get accepted even without fulfilling all of the L&S breadth. I thought this would have ruled me out for sure, but apparently not!
@calbear2016fall After you have SIR’d Berkeley, log into cal central with your MAP ID. You will see a ‘Berkeley CalNet ID’ option on the Tasks-Future tab. If you go to that link, it lets us make a CalNet ID.

I was so convinced I was going to get rejected, especially after UCLA and UCSD (and probably UCI, since I haven’t heard back at this late date) rejected me. Now I just need to make sure they’re OK with me having withdrawn from a non-major-related course despite the conditions of admission; UW and UMN said it was fine but I got an automated response when I contacted UCB the other week. It’s going to really suck if my admission gets rescinded over this, but I knew it was a risk when I withdrew.

Honestly I was totally expecting it. 2 missing prereqs and that gpa for Berkeley’s EECS major is a death sentence. You definitely earned it!
