Yeah I’m wondering the same thing. I’m 205-I know there are so many variables though. @muchalucha how many houses do you have listed in your preferences? That’s hugely important, I’m thinking I’ll add Hoyt and Sherman just to try to get into the system.
@tada77 I put about 13. I excluded the apartments, because I prefer one with boarding. I put CZ and Cloyne as my top though (cause they are larger, there is a definite higher chance there).
@muchalucha Nice I think I put 11houses and two apartments, but the apartments aren’t possible to get into for fall from my position. Clone is my number 1, I visited and really liked it but not sure if they’ll be a ton of spots opening up there. I didn’t put CZ which I know they said has more spots, but seems way too crazy and loud for me(I’m 25 and sober haha). Good luck to you!
Did anyone else have to submit a dependent verification for financial aid? I uploaded mine a few days ago and the “upload” button disappeared.
@SDGoldenBear Thank you for your sound advice. I actually had another question in regards to housing… I’ve found some nice places in my budget range, however, the problem that I keep running into is that the lease starts in the summer, and were I to sign it, I’d have to sublet it til school starts so that I don’t have to pay the extra rent. I know that all leases are going to be like that. But the problem is, I’ve heard from so many people that it’s so difficult to find subletters for their places in the summer at this stage. Should I just wait it out before committing to anything… in the hopes of finding a place that will already have a subletter and be looking just for someone for the school year… I haven’t had any luck in finding that so far.
@andie127 I am! It is expected that you take media studies 10 your first semester, as most CCC do not have a course that satisfies the requirement. We should add each other on fb or something and stick together to go through the process, lol
I submitted my academic update form as soon as I got my acceptance, but I still do not receive response from Berkeley. Does anyone get response from Berkeley so far?

There was one somewhere, where you basically say if anything has changed or not with your classes or if you plan on taking any summer classes, or if there is anything else they should know.
It said it was optional though from what I recall. I believe it was on the acceptance page though and listed by your conditions for admittance.
Any idea when Regents decisions come out?

@POTUS2040 @MikeSauce I asked one of the financial aid faculty members at the student reception I was at when regents decisions would come out. They said they believe they’ll be released monday the 16th aka tomorrow…
@briank82 Oh yea I saw that in the MAP portal but it does say “Optional”. I still have it there as nothing changed with my coursework, etc.

In terms of the waitlist essay
I have nothing new to report and my semester wont end for another 2 weeks. Should I just tell them what exactly I would want to do while studying at Cal?
I’ve gotten two notifications that say I’m missing a form for financial aid, yet in My Finances it shows “Uncompleted (0)”. Anyone else experience this?
