So are we sure that decisions are coming out today?
@jliu30 at this point I’d guess no
@jliu30 Someone called admissions and got confirmation, but who knows? I was expecting to get something around right now, but so far, nothing. I guess we’ll have to wait and see ?
@AlbionH at this point I just want to know.
Last year someone got their decision like, 8 minutes from now (unfortunately I can’t post times since we all have different timezones). I’m just repeatedly, obsessively refreshing my portal every 2 minutes even though, as an OOS applicant, I know that I probably won’t get anything today.
If someone else could call admissions and ask for confirmation…? I’m too shy to do it myself :’)
I just hope to find out today whether I get in or not.
someone already called. They said they would release starting today until June 1st.
So, I called a 2nd time today and got a different person and a different answer… she sounded a bit annoyed and told me in her words, " today is the last day to SIR, so we’ll start to see changes after today." She also said she cannot give exact dates/times…smh
My guess would be tomorrow starts, they won’t know everyone that has committed until the end of today.
^aish, seems scary
thanks for calling
Aight, I guess tomorrow it is then. Good luck everyone !
Man i wish it was today
r u guys pretty sure that some notifications will go out tomorrow?
I’m checking this thread like every hour xD Best of luck to all of you!! And I hope all of you get in!!
I am keeping my fingers crossed that they under-enrolled out of state students, and they will provide wait-list offers to out of state students by the end of this week.
@Hardzworker Haha, exactly what I’m wishing for too!! Hopefully we’ll both get in though
@pineappledragon this might sound silly, but where did you find the decline section? The site (next steps) is only giving me the option to select, “yes, I accept my offer of admission to UC Berkley!”
I just want to decline since I accepted my top choice and I know how it feels to be waiting for a spot/seat in years past.
@lucidday Huh? There should be an option to decline on the front page. At this point it’s really late so I’d just ignore it if I were you. The offer will expire on its own.
@pineappledragon damn. thanks for the info
