when do you think my status will change?
3 Questions:
-Where is the “first year pathways link”
-Has anyone received the official acceptance letter under “status update”
-Is the Global Edge program only for London, or Madrid and Rome as well?
@lnamazie mine doesn’t have a link to first year pathways…is it safe to assume I’m not off the waitlist then? Lol

Grrrr… my waitlist letter was just a giant error message with codes and stuff even though I had no FAQ or other changes and I thought it might mean it changed and of course it didn’t 
Any international applicant whose portal changed?
- Some of us have noticed that the FAQ that used to be about being waitlisted (at the bottom of the waitlist status letter) has very recently changed to a FAQ about January Start. The First Year Pathways link is embedded in that new January Start FAQ. And that link leads off with a congratulatory admissions message.
- My daughter has this new FAQ and that message, but her overall status update on the log-in page has not changed. It still shows the old waitlist status update. I don’t think anyone on this board has seen their status update actually change yet.
- I think Global Edge is only London, but not entirely sure.
I too didn’t get any of these listed changes. Can I assume that I didn’t get in?
guys, are there any international students seeing this glitch? also, are there anybody other than those applying college of letters and science who also see the glitch?
@jliu30 Do not assume anything right now. These could all be crazy glitches. Nothing formal has been announced.
Do you think that after 4 PM Pacific time, we can expect there not to be any more changes because the staff leave the office?
@jliu30 I’m thinking so…there’s a slight chance that the FAQ wasn’t updated for you but will all change when they upload decisions (I’m estimating 4pm, since that’s when admissions office closes), so I wouldn’t give up all hope quite yet. They also release in waves, so there’ll be more coming out next week and the week after.
International student nothing changed☹️
Do you guys think that as time passes, we are less likely to get off of the waitlist?
oos, applied for l&s, nothing changed either. Here we go again, the prolonged waiting game.
I have the glitch and am able to navigate to the congratulations page. Part of me hopes it’s just a weird glitch because I really wanted to attend in the fall.

@calgraduclamom We have the same thing as your daughter. Nothing else has changed on the page, but the January Start FAQ is there as well as the link to the congratulatory message.
Also its interesting for those who have the glitch if you go to the First Year Pathways link from the FAQ and click the “complete SIR here” link it gives an error message on Cal Central. Anyone else have this?
