There once again seems to be a lot of confusion going down, so I’d like to just point out to everyone that if you guys scroll up to about two days ago, every and I mean EVERY one of these questions has already been answered.
As a short summary. Every other method that was previously used has been patched. Currently this ID method is the only one that works. This is not something that has ever failed in the last 6 years and since it shows you quite literally you’re berkeley ID, people who do have this ID are as good as accepted. Not borderline or waitlist, ACCEPTED. We know this as the data to create this accounts is manually done by the office of the registrar and is publicly shown on their websites to be only for accepted students.
This has also been confimred by accepted individuals back in February of this year
This being said, influencers cannot give a 100 percent certain confirmation as legally they can be sued or have a class action lawsuit filed against them. This is why you will see people saying 99 percent chance of acceptance and things like this. This method does not have nuance it’s a very simple way of seeing if you’re admitted or not. So please don’t freak out lmao

I mean it could happen but its highly unlikely that they would be making decisions the day before they release like tineocollege prep guy claims they would.

its not a decision, its merely uploading an ID for the students that need them.
I know but if you watch the full video of tineocollege prep he’s claiming that they are still making decisions for borderline applicants.

I have an ID for bioengineering which is in the COE idk if this helps though.
i agree his verbatism was wrong with “making decisions” but logically it is very much possible that they still upload ids, not directling making decisions
