ppl on zeemee seem to get kinda mad when this is mentioned😭I lean towards believing it’s true especially since it’s been going on for six years
is there anybody who didn’t get their id previously? but recently their id show up?
at the very least everyone having an id cannot be true since not everyone can log in, which in on itself sort of disproves what some of the zeemee people were saying

It’s very mixed at my school. Many of the people you would have assumed to have great chances did not get the ID. Granted these are competitive majors but my school routinely sends about 7-10 students to UCB every year. 2 of the people I know were also accepted to UCLA. Personally, I do not have the ID but was accepted to UCLA. So it’s hard to tell but I do think its fairly accurate just hoping for more IDs to come potentially.

To be fair I am instate, and our school gets around 40+ acceptances to Berkeley each year. Thus, almost all of our top students get admission except for some to competitive programs like EECS, MET and Haas.
I can see campus solutions and have an ID starting in 304. I personally find it highly unlikely that it’s accurate. I’m an in-state Bio applicant with 3.8 weighted 3.5 unweighted that got rejected from every other UC other than SC and Riverside. Hopefully it means good news but I wouldn’t be surprised if it wasn’t.

you never know, berk is really forgiving with some applicants. they have a history of actually being holistic and giving people with not ideal grades a second chance

I have the ID, i applied MET so prolly jsut got the alternative. I did not do any summer programs. does anyone know MET applicants who dont have the ID

Yea, its a in-state school in Central Valley California so underprivileged and a lot of first-gen students which might contribute to the number we send to UC Berkeley. Many EECS applicants so was expecting at least one, but I’m not entirely sure as one of my friends applied EECS but did not check the astrology. I know a person with an ID for landscape architecture.

Not affiliated with berkeley. Not necessarily special circumstances, just a very high upward grade trend, 10 APs w/ good scores and decent EC’s. Would be pleasantly surprised if I end up getting accepted as other UC’s with “higher” acceptance rates rejected me. It’s good to hear they seem to be more holistic though.
Is Forbidden/Not Authorized no longer working this year? I logged into Campus Solutions successfully and had a 304 student ID, but I’m still getting not authorized via the other method (account manager).

If you research a bit, you can find people who were rejected/waitlisted from almost every UC and still got into Berkeley. I think you should be cautiously optimistic given the long history of the astrology working!

to be honest its not that out of the question that you’d be accepted then, especially with an upward trend! plenty of people get into only ucb out of all the ucs, safe to say they look for something specific in applicants
