One of the 13 criteria markers they use to evaluate is significant improvement in grades. We don’t know how each campus ranks the criteria but it’s def on there.

I personally know someone who was in that exact situation (he did get into ucsc and ucr as well) and got into Berkeley, so I don’t think you should worry too much.

"There once again seems to be a lot of confusion going down, so I’d like to just point out to everyone that if you guys scroll up to about two days ago, every and I mean EVERY one of these questions has already been answered.
As a short summary. Every other method that was previously used has been patched. Currently, this ID method is the only one that works. This is not something that has ever failed in the last 6 years and since it shows you quite literally you’re Berkeley ID, people who do have this ID are as good as accepted. Not borderline or waitlist, ACCEPTED. We know this as the data to create these accounts is manually done by the office of the registrar and is publicly shown on their websites to be only for accepted students.
This has also been confirmed by accepted individuals back in February of this year
This being said, influencers cannot give a 100 percent certain confirmation as legally they can be sued or have a class action lawsuit filed against them. This is why you will see people saying 99 percent chance of acceptance and things like this. This method does not have nuance it’s a very simple way of seeing if you’re admitted or not. So please don’t freak out lmao"

It comes down to past years and patterns. If we can just repost this often, would help a lot of people sum it up. Who knows in the end but I hope that ONCE AGAIN, (for the most part) everyone showing an ID are likely IN! Seems too good to be true but many things are.

Yes. S25 applied MET, did the MET requested video essay, and does not have an ID. He does have high stat and accepted to all UCs with multiple regents.
I agree. That account has consistently posted great information about the astrology and we should probably all stop worrying so much.
Maybe you got into your alt major? To be waitlisted CS is a accomplishment in itself

Bcs i just read somebody from tiktok said this @74739294: My friends mom works for Berkeley admissions and she said they are going by major and started with engineering so if campus solutions doesn’t work they might not have imputed acceptances for ur major
