Yes it was apparently because there is still an extra screening process. Like some students are selected through the first round of admissions as valid candidates but as it closes in on people they get waitlisted or rejected if they are not qualified enough, but sometimes they still get an account made originally.
no thats wrong. They got waitlisted cause they had attened summer school or programs at berkeley and had an id. If u havent and have an id ur in.
ITS THAT SIMPLE. there is no first round of screening. IDS get made 4 days before and thats what happened they wont change the decesions 4 days before relesaing them. They have forwarded all of the acceptances to the IT department who are now uploading them(either lump sump or waves)

This is what the tineocollege prep guy said on tiktok in order to protect his reputation. The person previously waitlisted applied for a dual degree program that’s why they were waitlisted even after having the ID. The process for applying for that program is different and involves creating a student ID.
