a) extremely accurate, unless you are a dual applicant or have done previous berkley things, and id is a probably acceptance. this has been the case over the past 4 years.
b) most if not all ids have been inputted as of today. some people may get ids on the day of
primary and alternate. definitely not a dual degree if thats what ur afraid of
My conclusion is that it is the final process step before the release step occurs. I make no conclusion as to the type of decision made, just because the withdrawal is locked out.
I do however believe that if you have received an ID (a new one, not one related to previous contact with UCB) you are likely 100% in.
We are all hoping that others, not currently seeing an ID, get accepted tomorrow. There is no “tell“ likely that will indicate that.

It does, but if it happens, hopefully it will be documented here for those checking out this thread next year, when Berkeley decides to continue this tradition.
i applied CED and still no ID… kinda worried but also nobody seems to have it?

For example, Michigan EA had nearly 55K views, but look at the number of unique views.
UCLA was a little closer to UCB with about 40K views. (1st peak was false claims about release a week too early.)

it isn’t a significant amount of people that end up getting their id after finding out they’ve been accepted, right?
It is really not clear, and certainly not based on anything more than hearsay, whether there were ANY in the past.

This is very difficult to prove on a chat board, but only a few have claimed they/their friends didn’t have the portal astrology “tells”, and were accepted.

Question, IF you got an ID from a summer program, does that ID update or stay the same.
if i applied MET, does my ID mean anything? getting kinda scared now.
someone said it doesnt mean anything for dual degrees earlier but someone else said that it does still work for MET applicants. confused whether it works or doesnt
