They absolutely could take this away if they wanted to do so. Every other university faces the same challenges in loading their portal and credentialing admits to their internal systems.
I suspect they would be liable if someone acting on this “portal astrology” hurt themselves.
Maybe, because of the huge focus this year (see chart above) they will take action next year.

Sorry! I meant it said Unrecognized Login. They used to have the IDs and could log into CalCentral just fine but now they both can’t. Now we’re all just super confused. I can still log in just fine </3

I hear ya. But it has worked in the past, and apparently is working the same now…. And, I see no reason why UCB would create a new ID for anyone, let alone some-and-not-all, unless it was for acceptance…

same here but 3.5 unweighted and 3.8 weighted. Would be unbelievable if ID thing is right.

Campus solutions shows “your account hasn’t been created ye. Please try again later.” What does this mean ? Am I rejected or waitlisted ?
pretty sure people are saying rejected/waitlisted.. not sure which one. I also didnt get an id for ucb but I got into ucsd which is my top choice. Love Berkeley but I see myself more at ucsd!

u got it !!! .. remember everyone rejection is redirection. not getting into Berkeley doesn’t mean anything, you are still you. So whatever happens tomorrow just be positive and keep working hard !

I mentioned this earlier, but I would bet that losing access to your ID means that the Berkeley admissions committee was debating your acceptance, and you went from the “yes” to the “no” or “maybe” pile. It really does seem like the only logical explanation.
The calnet method has been patched 2 days back . A Reddit user posted screenshots showing proof as well . Only the campus solution method would make sense .

Decisions are made almost a well or two before they are released . They aren’t deciding if they wanna take someone less than 24 hours before decisions drop .
