Portal Astrology works. It is my fault, I was a skeptic after UCD, UCSD, UCLA waitlist. Hard to believe S25 got in for EECS after that.

i got waitlisted im so proud cause i didn’t think i even had a chance for that! how likely is it to get off the waitlist for L&S and do u think submitting a letter of intent can help?

My son did not have the id when he checked on Saturday morning but he was accepted into Letters and Sciences. He also got an invite to apply to the SEEDS Honors program—anyone else?

Congrats! Is Saturday morning the only time he checked it? Trying to find out whether he he knew for sure he didn’t have ID before decisions were released.

S25 also LSBE admitted college of Letters and Science. He says you have to apply in to LSBE after first year

We had checked around 10a on Saturday morning and decided to just wait and not look again. His older brother is a junior at Cal and it had destroyed our dream of them going to the same school for a year. We are out of state also. My son also said a lot of kids on the ZeeMee chat said the astrology didn’t work for them. Some it did, but others it didn’t. We could be an outlier—who knows? But we are thrilled…he found out his acceptance on his bday. Best gift ever!

I believe each UC has a sense of fit and appeal to other UCs. They make informed choices to the extent possible.

Thank you all !! The portal astrology absolutely worked. My daughter had an ID - and she did not test any of the other methods - like “withdraw” form or other things suggested earlier.
So, for all future applicants - for the 2025 cycle - Just having an ID meant Acceptance.
Congrats to all of you in the Class of 2029. This has been the toughest year on record.
