well we just need confirmation that 1) they’re done putting the accepted students in their database and 2) more atdp students cannot log in
Please reply if you know of any ATDP students who cannot log in.

does the ID shown in ur calcentral portal match the one in ur application listed? I didn’t really check my id when I was doing the summer program so I’m trynna find out if it updated. The rest of the details did update tho.
guys what numbers did u get for ur id in for the first four digits??? I got 3041 and people are saying the only thing that differs between students in the 1 or 0 after the 304 and some are speculating one could indicate waitlists due to the large amount of people who were able to log in.. im hoping it just is random or is related to the major, I applied cs/eecs as a international!! whoever got their ids and applied same major lmk what u got after the third digit
Yeah, my ID in calcentral is exact same as my campus solutions ID. However, my calcentral page is like the standard student homepage, and not an alumni homepage.
2 of my friends have the portal id, and quoting themselves and my opinion, they are not the most qualified… so maybe this year could be also waitlists too with the ID.
Anyone who applied political science able to log in?
So do the IDs start with 303 or 304 and then 304 people have 3040 and 3041?
Also Engineering Sciences [Environmental, Statistics, Energy, Physics], I haven’t seen anyone getting their ID for that yet (pretty niche though!).
Can they be different schools within UCB?
Do you know if Biology majors have been able to see ID yet?
In past years, everyone who received an ID turned out to be admitted. It didn’t matter what the number was. (I went down a huge rabbit hole on this last year).
People are going to be more likely to respond to the survey if they’ve had positive results, so I don’t think it is representative.
Edit: excluding those who did a Berkeley program in the past.
even at a rate of 54% no and 46% yes? that is what its at currently out of 224 responses. I am just doubtful as so many seem to have it, but it is very true that there is some sampling bias on cc! guess we will see on thursday
That includes the people who did the summer program too, no? So taking that into mind along with survivorship bias, it is probably reflective of Cal’s actual acceptance rate.
I have an ID thru this calnet but I also applied for the dual degree program with HKU. Does getting an ID only mean i got into Berkeley or also into the DD program? is there a way to tell for the DD program?
My ID is 3041. Why would waitlisted people get IDs? Could the 0 versus 1 indicate waitlist versus acceptance
Just got into UCLA yesterday and also got into UCSD. Have been accosted to John’s hopkins, Michigan, UNC, northeastern as well
It is therefore also unlikely that the cal account ids indicate both acceptance and waitlists. Although I’m not gonna lie anything is possible
Congrats on the acceptances! I think earlier in the thread someone was saying that it wouldn’t make sense for them to make IDs for the 10000+ people they put on the waitlist every year.
Also, the number after the 303/304 is likely random/in order of ID creation, as last year, the only thing that mattered was that you had a 303/304 ID and not the numbers after it.
if you don’t have an ID number now, are you rejected?
has this id thing been working for anyone who applied under the college of chem?
Im not entirely sure how all of this works especially with the code and what not, but my guess is that this years its a coincidence that some people have 0 and some people have 1. It’s like if you were ordering at a McDonalds and you were order number, say, 0990. But there may be many other people who ordered later. Someone’s number would be 1354, in this case. I feel like that is what is happening. I have no idea though.
