UC Berkeley 2025 Portal Astrology Discussion

Appreciate the detailed response. Me and many others want your thoughts on this matter.

According to a reputable source, applying/attending this program called ATDP, an unofficial summer Cal program, does NOT confound the portal results. Why? Because there are students who have attended who DO NOT have an ID, but there are also students like me who applied who DO have IDs.

To my knowledge, they did NOT give an official berkeley ID.

guys why do I feel like its too good to be true also if u haven’t done this form.. do it pls UC BERKELEY PORTAL ASTROLOGY 2025

i get it feels this way but try to read people working through this logically. don’t stress it too much, it wont help anything, yk. it can only be a good sign if you received an ID, and thursday is super close! you got this. also im realizing with how much bias there is on CC, it will be hard to get any truly representative sample. we got this!!!

Well to me what I see is an unofficial summer program where as you said no IDs were given. And as you said since there are some parts of the population that don’t have ids that did attend the program I would say the ids are indeed a good sign.

There seems to be a misconception. The data that is used by cal central gets its data from the undergraduate admissions team specifically via your MAP portal. All we’re seeing here is a way to bypass the date lock on the MAP portal through this log in method. Thus if you log in and come to this interim screen AGAIN WITHOUT DOING AN OFFICIAL PROGRAM WHERE YOU RECIEVED IDS before, this means you were accepted as it has pulled that data from your individual portal

Yo for ppl who also did Berkeley Summer Session Program, if you log into CalCentral w/ login credentials they gave u in summer, do you see alumni homepage or standard student homepage (same Calcentral portal during program)? 3 other ppl I asked have alumni homepage but I have a student homepage (I had the alumni page after program ended back in August but seems Berkeley reverted mine back) so idk if it could be a good sign for me since campus solutions method doesn’t apply to me :slight_smile:

you can submit again, this form will be inaccurate

are there any college of engineering (especially international) students who have an ID when they click the campus solutions link?

I am beginning to doubt this. Two of my friends can log in the account, and maybe more as i did not ask lots of ppl about their results. last year ucb only admit 7 of us in our school (ps international school)..

can you check with others in ur school? how many got it? also did those 2 attend a summer program

for my school it seems accurate and is too accurate to be a coincidence. all the smartest people i know are able to see the ID and most cannot see the ID

Same is true for my school, many I know don’t have ID/can’t log in while the few you’d expect to get in have it.

Hey do u think if u get an id you can waitlisted?? Lots of dicsussion abt it. That if ur id is 3040 ur in and if it starts with 3041 ur waitlisted? Btut im just thinking why would they make 11000 ids for waitlisting since they only take 300 from the waitlist can u please help im freaking out sicne it might be waitlisted tooo

within my school (in-state), i only know 2 people who have tried it but they both had the id. i did not have the id but i had identical stats to one of them and we are essentially the highest ranked students in the class (even though we do not have class rank we have a general idea of everyones academics bc small school). i dont think the academics is a telltale sign. i dont know how much i should trust the portal astrology as im still holding out for hope lmao

yup, you’re thinking at the end would be right. Think of it like this, berkeley is almost like a company at the end of the day. If there are 150,000 applicants, work emails would only be given or assigned to those that the company would hire (i.e. the handful of 1 to 2 thousand people that would be offered the position). Similarly Berkeley does (AND HAS BEEN DOING) this for 6+ years now. Some people seem to forget that the reason why this method has so much traction is that it is 100% accurate. It’s not like a little side-bar disapperaing or a little glitch in a system. it’s quite literally your berkeley ID. It’s not possible to really get any more confirmation that you’re in than that.

Yes, Granted there are different cases where people might have IDs before, for the majority of applicants who it is their first time coming into the Berkeley system, having that ID is almost undeniable proof that they are in the system.

Regarding some of the things said about sample size and it being “too good to be true”. When one stays on the internet and is really looking for a certain things, they may blind themselves to other factors. I’M SAYING THIS AGAIN. This server and reddit and most of these online platforms are incredibly incredibly biased for obvious reasons. Everyone who is on this page really wants to get into berkeley thus things could skew and even seem too good to be true.

While it’s kind of annoying to say, this isn’t really portal “astrology” but more of a way to bypass a release date deadline. The info’s already there, we’re just really pressing print(decision) and praying to god that we get a hit.

If you check some older responses there have been many people debunking the whole idea about 3040 vs 3041. After all, IDs are numbers that are often times generated in order from smallest to largest (speaking from someone with software development experience). The most logical explanation for the difference between 3040 and 3041 is that they are created at different times. People have already shown that older IDs from 2023 start with 3039 and even smaller numbers. And indeed like you say, creating IDs for 10000 waitlisted individuals when they really only need to make 300 as they release waitlist decisions in late June is simply not logical. Other people feel free to question me, I am open to any discussions:)

no they did not. in China this topic is quite private so we did not talk about this so much. but i do know some of my friends cannot enter the page. finger crossed though. hope we all get in!

Pretty logical statement here. As a lot of people said earlier.

Have ID == acceptance

Don’t have ID == waitlist/rejection

Most other methods have been patched like the withdraw button and the forbidden/not authorized. But seeing your actual berkeley ID hopefully gives some people reasurrance for Thursday.

Let’s not go in circles people, let’s start scrolling up through the chat lol.

Has anyone’s astrology worked today but didn’t work yesterday? Any signs they’re still uploading decisions or are they fully done???

What if Berkeley is ■■■■■■■■ us.

Think about it. This method has been working since 2023. Berkeley is definitely aware that it exists. They’ve patched all other methods. Why wouldn’t they patch this.

What if we getting ■■■■■■■ chat.

bro i hope that’s conspiracy because what i just read is freaking me out
