UC Berkeley 2025 Portal Astrology Discussion

cuz i havent heard of any econ majors with the id. like any at all which is obv weird

yeah same

It’s been working for 6 years now

does berkeley extension count?
I have an id starting with x then 6 numbers

I think you should be at least optimistic. In past years, the portal astro was 100% accurate, and I personally know multiple people last year that had the astro work for them and got in.

Additionally, I know an early admit EECS student who was able to log into campus solutions after their acceptance, implying further correlation between acceptance and your ability to login.

Has anyone who applied to a dual degree program gotten an ID? I got an ID, but I am not sure if it means the same outcome as a normal applicant due to the supplemental application. Can someone clear up the confusion for me please? Thanks!

Anything is subject to change. My friend didn’t have his Id yesterday but he got it today

Same! I see an ID but then again, I applied for UC Science Po and never ended up submitting my application. I’m not sure if it means I was accepted or if it is just an old ID for when I was applying.

Applying to COSMOS wouldnt cause having an ID right? I have the ID but did apply to COSMOS 2 years ago.

iirc cosmos is affiliated with UCs but not berkeley

i doubt COSMOS would give you an id

does anyone who applied/attended to COSMOS not have the ID?

I think those without ids have left the chat lol

S25 does not have an ID. He applied for MET and since he didn’t get accepted earlier, so it was likely a reject. He was accepted to all other UCs in CompE, CS, EE and with multiple regents.

I did cosmos at UCI and got the ID for physics, not sure what that means

has anyone here applied to cosmos but does NOT have the id?

Out of curiosity, has anyone here been accepted to both UCLA CS and Berkeley EECS? I’ve heard it’s usually one or the other.

Yes, but no id. it also appeared for me today.

pretty sure all l&s applicants have it

Might be paranoia but would applying to UCSC SIP give me an ID on CalNet? I have one but want to make sure that’s not why. I didn’t even finish the SIP application

I have the same question but for COSMOS application.

Can someone please verify if they dont have id but applied to either of these prorgams(COSMOS and SIP)?
