I need help. So I have the ID but I also have the fall program semester thing which is apparently for life sciences only. My primary major is the Robinson Life sciences and business program, and I don’t know what school it is in because on the UC app it says Haas, but apparently it is also only for sophomores up. My second major is Molecular and Cell biology. Did I just get my first major ignored because of that then?
I’m spending way too much time on this lol but I think it does work for MET. MET doesn’t require you to create an UCB account. You only need to indicate your interest in standard UC application.
The Science Pro Dual Program, however, explicitly requires an UCB account to apply.
Take my opinion with a grain of salt. I’m a stranger on internet.

It looks like UCB goes on spring break next week. Not sure if the admissions office still work!? It is interesting if they have already decided and the IDs are batched? I believe this was the case last year too where their decision day (ivy day) coincided with spring break.
yes. someone was saying they may still be making last minute decisions tomorrow and removing IDs? but that is definitely not the case, especially if they’re on break! decisions are made!
any bio l&s students get an id?? if so when?

Many freshman at Cal(this year) have confirmed that during the last admission cycle, they made decisions even up to 1-2 days before release date, this was shown through the ID method. There are definitely still changes that can take place

Hello all, I applied to Berkeley summer sessions last year. I got in, but didnt go. I had a cal net id created for me. Now, when I login with map thru campus solutions i can see my portal with the same cal net id. When I log in with my cal net id to cal central, I see a student view portal and not an alumni portal. does anyone know what this means for me?
It would be greatly appreciated
i just think in regards to making new decisions, having IDs taken away is not a possibility. they would not give someone a unique ID (an acceptance) and take it away because they decided last minute to not accept them. it just does not make sense. at the same time, i am not an AO. who knows

I was mainly addressing the possibility of them adding ID’s, not removing them.

ok fire yes i do think more will be loaded in, but earlier people were asking if theirs could be removed. thinking that is not a possibility! thanks for ur reply

Other people have had the same question as you, they came to the (not gauranteed at all) decision that it is simply unpredictable to confirm whether it is an acceptance or rejection
honestly idk about the difference between alumni and non alumni portals for summer session students, but I would think if you already had an ID, having one now does not indicate anything? if i am wrong anyone feel free to correct me, but yes

it’s a good sign at least haha, i have the id too but I’m trying not to celebrate too early bc you never know for sure–this method has worked in the past however, so it’s definitely a positive!
