yup i remember back in february of this year it worked, then they changed the withdrawal page and it no longer worked

So, from what I am seeing, if I applied for MET and still got an ID I could be getting waitlisted bc it is a dual degree program? Im confused

I believe someone alluded to this previously. Let’s look at it from
A simple math POV:

UCB waitlisted 15K applicants in 2024
Opted in. 9 K applicants
Admitted. 1K Applicants

Why would UCB issue 15K additional IDs to only end up using less than 1K of them.

do we think there is any potential of the forbidden and not authorized method working again, maybe starting tomorrow? I have an ID but need some reassurance; a “forbidden” would be nice! :rofl:

also, @ViennaE, I think with DD programs, the astrology doesn’t work as you already had to have a UC berkeley account. this would not indicate acceptance or rejection, i believe you just have to find out on thursday. EDIT: in response to your comment, I think they create it for DD applicants? not entirely certain though as i dont know much about DD! best wishes!

I never had to create a berkeley acc - all i did was submit california application and then submit my extra supplemental and video essay on the berekely portal

If you click on the image icon on the ID page, it will take you to SIS page. Try to log into SIS and you will see forbidden..

is it true that decisions might still be being made up until decision day? I heard that a few cal students from past years weren’t able to see it until the day before the release date.

omg same..I applied to chem under CoC as an intl but I haven’t got an id yet..I know some intls who have an id now are applying to l&s.

I need help. I’m curious if I got in or not. I have never taken a UC Berkeley summer course or anything to do with it. However, I have made an account to start an application for a UC Berkeley program. However, I believe that I never even finished the application and was not accepted or enrolled in the program. When I log into Campus Solutions, I have a Berkeley ID, but I’m led to the Alumni Portal. When I press on Academics and go to Academic Summary, it states my name, a Berkeley ID, and Academic Status as Undergraduate. The rest of the boxes such as major and stuff are blank for now. Did I get in or no?

well i know someone last year who applied MET and didnt get an ID so if u didnt get an id u probably didnt get in but im not sure if u do get an id ur in. i guess we will see
