I got the talent supplement for berkeley and LA but I was rejected at LA (not even waitlisted). The whole admissions process seems so random to me, so I really have no clue if I’ll get in or not. Lots of people from my school who were for sure qualified didn’t get into UCLA, and some of the people who did get in had lower SAT scores, GPAs, easier classes, lackluster ec’s, etc. I also know people who got into LA but not Davis or SD, so go figure.

Does anybody know what time the decision comes out? It says “evening” on the website - but I live in Europe so I want to set an alarm for the time that the portal opens. You can give me the time in PST

@petitetee … I came to the thread looking for the same thing. I guess it has not been announced so we just have to wait. I got the UCLA email 6:50 a.m. +4GMT.
Apparently it’s 5PM PST
It might start around 5pm PST, but last time for LA, I didn’t get my decision until around 6PM. Most people got their decisions starting from 5:20. Hope it helps

Totally understand and empathize! I’m wondering how many of my own students may stay home today for precisely the same reason – nerves. Probably difficult to concentrate on schoolwork.

I think it would be cruel to you students to release decisions during the school day, so I’m glad for the timing. I have many students waiting along with all of you, so I’m probably almost as nervous.
My plea for all those who post on the Results thread is to include (1) College (L&S, etc.) & Major selected; (2) supplement requested or not, and which one (borderline, talent, leadership, etc.) (3) if admitted to a later quarter (not Fall).

Does anybody know if UCLA’s school of engineering (for CS) is more competitive than UCB’S L&S? I applied undeclared here and was waitlisted at LA so I’m hopeful but super nervous…

I remember I was in your shoes last year and to be honest the acceptance was highly unexpected,so don’t worry about your stats and what not, you guys have tried your best and put your everything into your applications,so either way, no matter what decision it is, you guys should be happy that you all tried your best I hope you all get good news and get to come to Cal
@studycollege hope you still have a good backup school. i always think that getting into a college that suits you is much more important than get into a college with the best reputation. i have been accepted to 5 UCs that i applied to. to be honest, i will be happy to go to any of these 5.

What time are the decisiones released?
probably 6 but no exact time is released any time after 6 is fair game
