There seems to be a lot of people with the banner gone
I’m an international and it’s still there for me
4.0 uw 2330 sat, lots of leadership and summer research. Disappeared
Just called admissions. The women said that the under removal message disappearing has nothing to do with Regents. When I asked why some disappeared she said it could be for a number of different reasons why stressed that it wasnt for regents.
But IDK if I should really believe her. Admissions officers aren’t exactly known for being transparent.
Honestly, congrats to those who get the notification but it’s such a small and selective pool many of those on CC will probably hear good news in March (hopefully that includes me 
). It does suck having to wait so much longer but it’s only another month or so.
As of now, I’m assuming I did not make Regents and that’s all right.
@SnapApp Considering this is CC and that those whose banners are gone also have great stats, one can assume that they have gotten in.

but I just got into the University of Florida like 10 mins ago so life is okay

My stats are good but nothing extraordinary when it comes to Berkeley… I thought my essays were pretty good, so maybe I have a chance… No ‘under review’ for me but not getting my hopes up too much yet
@chx177 @waddups They probably didn’t realize a whole army of CC’ers would be refreshing portals every second waiting for anything to change.

Scores were generally above a 90% benchmark.

I have really strong music ECs (international competitions for violin and piano), but only a couple leadership stuff. Essays were ok, while LORs should have been really good.
@jetynz Maybe. But collegeconfidential is skewed when it comes to stats and EC’s. I don’t think it’d be particularly unusual to see a higher than expected number of those who receive a notification. Keep in mind, it’s for those who QUALIFY for Regents, not just who receive it, making the numbers even higher.
Also, aren’t there rumors going around not all 2000 released today are candidates for scholarships, but also accepted? Not sure if that’s true or not, but if it’s the case, makes sense for so many to have banners disappearing.
Mine is still under review… I’m so sad :((
