I’m sure it does. There’s no other reason for it to be happening. If you think about it, that’s exactly where a congratulations banner should be. So… Congratulations everyone who’ve had it disappear.

We won’t really know anything until four, so if it hasn’t disappeared don’t give up yet!
Berkeley is trying something new this time - of the 2000 getting notified today, some are for Regents and the rest are for ‘Early Acceptance’. So @Kasami not everyone who gets notified today are Regents Scholars

@Kasami actually there were some people checking their statuses through another website and, in lack of a better term, I called it the “application website”
Where are you supposed to check it? Link please. Where is the banner supposed to be/what does it look like if it disappeared? I literally never logged onto my Berkeley account before today.

Ok I’m really confused. So I got the email saying that they were not asking me for teacher recs, but when I used went to this URL: https://apply.berkeley.edu/account/login
and clicked on my application, it says that I can submit teacher recs. WHAT DOES THIS MEAN? The deadline was like a month ago.
@longsock123 That happened to a lot of applicants. Some say it was a glitch, but no one was sure. If you didn’t submit and were supposed to, you still wouldn’t be penalized. Regardless, it’s past the deadline so nothing to do about it now.
It means absolutely nothing @longsock123 . Some people were discussing this issue on another thread, and apparently it’s just a bug in the system.

@longsock123 You’re good. Same thing happened to me. As long as you got the email that you weren’t selected for recs you’re perfectly fine. Either way you are though too
