At this point, I’m done with “indicators of acceptance”. I had that UCSD housing email and I was waitlisted by UCSD. I even got the alumni scholarship invite for UCLA that said that I was a top applicant of theirs and I was waitlisted by them. I’m just hoping that my LORs pull through for Berkeley.
I got rejected by both UCLA and UCSD today :’(
Hoping for miracle now :’)
@idkwhichcollege I’m not sure what the chances of getting in are but I don’t think they’re higher than what the RD applicants face. I also applied to 3 more Ivies as well as Emory and Swarthmore.
@lyannastark - hang in there! Wait listed still gives you a chance to get in. I am rooting for you!
@browned - someone posted on the UCLA forum that he/she got rejected from UCLA and still have not heard back from UCSD but got early admission from UCB. Keep the hope alive!
FPF letters only sent to L&S students？ I am applying for the Natrual Resource …got so upset now…
I didn’t get the FPF e-mail! I applied to CNR, and got a request for LOR. I got into UCSD but was rejected from UCLA yesterday… so now I feel like I’m going to be rejected by UCB too.

@IBGuy101 I got the email and I’m an international applying to l&s. I don’t think that email was promotional, because at the bottom of the email there’s no “unsubscribe” link, whereas that link is there on other emails I got from Berkeley which are clearly promotional. (but then I could be wrong. Also, it’s the first time I’m writing a comment on a thread on here!)
@frenchguy emails from admission do not unsubscribe link, that is only for scholarship opp.
