I guess this email points to a possible correlation in admissions but it is very cloudy atm.

@IBGuy101 Sorry man, but I think you’re looking way too much into this. Basically everyone in this thread who applied to L&S got it and for those who said they didn’t, it turns out they didn’t apply to L&S. Don’t mean to crush your hopes.

Hopefully between 3 and 5 @efebrkn It has been that way for UCSD and UCLA, so I bet it will be that way for Berkeley as well.

On the 12th the portals were updated at around 3:55-4 pm PT, so I’m guessing (and hoping) that it will be the same on the 24th, as opposed to how UCLA didn’t update until after 5!

I have a question, Berkeley asked me to submit two letters of rec earlier in the application process. What does this mean? Is it for borderline students or potential admits?
