You know it’s decision day when ur dad (who’s a Cal alumnus) keeps badgering you to check the portal just in case they released decisions. Yikes. (“No, dad, they’re not gonna release this early.”)
@klp777 Yeah I heard that too, that everyone just bombards the portal and it crashes for a couple of hours.
@2400sONLY2400s Try to beat my 2500! You’ll get rejected because you CANT!!! That’s right dummy.
Is USC releasing results today?
@CollgeBound16 That’s what I’ve heard
Am I the only one so far that after every rejection start playing at the highest volume “You Can’t always Get What You Want” ?
Tweeted by UCBerkeleyAdmissions 1 hour ago: “Hang tight, future Golden Bears. Decisions are slated to be released by this evening PST. If anything changes, we’ll tweet the news!”
For those accepted, doesn’t financial aid information come out today too?
@CollgeBound16 USC mailed all decision letters yesterday and if you live close enough you might receive yours today. They will also post decisions on the portal, but you have to wait till Saturday for those.
Still waiting. How do you find out? They will send me email to me?
I didn’t receive an email. I’m an international student though. Any other internationals in the same boat?
@greysanatomy3113 USC updates the portal on the 26 but they sent out decisions yesterday through the post office. I live in LA so I should be getting the package today priority mail if I got in. If not then it’s most likely a rejection letter and that will come Friday or Saturday.
@SnapApp on Berkeley’s online newspaper they stated that finaid will be visible on March 30.
“If you plan to receive financial aid, you can view your financial aid offer for incoming freshmen March 30 and for incoming transfers May 1.” http://www.dailycal.org/2016/03/24/so-you-got-into-uc-berkeley-now-what/
@spodankle last year my brother was rejected from UCSD and accepted to Berkeley and ucla. Not to mention all the private schools he applied to including Dartmouth and Vanderbilt.
currently eating my feelings
@pleaseacceptme99 That is more like UCSD made a mistake instead of your brother not being qualified enough if he got into an Ivy.
@Desiree2 idk. Point is he got rejected from a UC and was still admitted to Berkeley.
@Desiree2 the funny thing is, so far, the same thing is happening to me. The only school I’ve had a rejection from is UCSD lol
Out of curiosity, if I was named a Regents Scholar at UCLA, what are my chances of admission at UCB? I’m glad I got regents at one school, but Berkeley is BY FAR my top choice
