don’t trip over the ethnicity thing calcentral will add more info about you over time like your address and other stuff
Did anyone who got the email tried logging in beforehand to Cal central with the map? Because I did that beforehand and I got a 10 digit Id number saying I successfully logged in and it was my Cal central id. But after that it said I was unauthorized and then I never got an email
I have my address, phone number, and ethnicity on my calcentral profile already there.
@Chrisq1 thanks for all of your help, I’ll check calcentral tomorrow and the days leading up to the decision and post if anything changes
perhaps the ability to sign in directly to the Calcentral portal and having ur demographic info outlined is a good indicator that ur in. I’m just speculating here though. It could also be that the info u put in to make ur calID doesnt match with the information in the UC app u guys made, or numerous other reasons. Again, I’m just an applicant like u guys, so what do i know.
Where does it even say anything about ethnicity? I cant find it… also tbh I don’t know if this even means anything. But I guess we’re gonna find out on Thursday anyway. Idk im so worried because ucb is my top choice. I just gave myself false hope…
@Chrisq1
I got my CalNet ID(3034…) but am unable to log in CalCentral.
@noel334 I tried logging in with MAP before I made my summer session account to get the calnet ID and it didn’t work for me. It just said it was invalid or something.
@noel334 the same thing happened to me on Sunday.
Wait jk, I do have ethnicity listed (which I am sure I didn’t give when making my summer session account). You have to scroll down and click ethnicity.
yo guys I am just dispensing my advice and my experiences I didn’t mean to make anyone on edge but at least I am giving some info lol and most of you can take something positive from this since you all probably also feel that these are good indicators.
@Chrisq1 So if we do see presir, does this mean that we got in? I feel that most of us that are on here are seeing presir
And how do you know that presir is not referring to our summer enrollment, since we had to register for summer sessions in order to get access to our calnet accounts?
I’m trying the signing up thing for the summer courses for testing purposes as I already got into the school I want to go to so I don’t mind if I get rejected from Berkeley. I’ll update if tomorrow if I don’t get an email.
@nyudream2221 everyone who was able to get the email has seen presir but then again, they were able to get the email so their account was probably in the system?? Some people didn’t get the email yet. Idk… no one can say for sure what any of this means. Official decisions will be released Thursday and we will all know for sure lol! We should all try not to stress.
why did this page blow up again? what email are we all talking about the fin aid email? What’s this summer session topic
Also to add: not everyone’s says presir. everyone here who has gotten the email has seen it, but my friend checked right now (who didn’t apply to Berkeley, just signed up for summer sessions) and has not registered or something as the status. However, I don’t know if all students who applied to Berkeley have PRESIR as the status right now, which is a possibility.
Just scroll back to the 90s page, you’ll see that people are applying for the summer session to see if they have Pre Sir on their profile.
For everyone that just came online;
Sign up for summer sessions and create a calnet ID and see if your status shows presir
I got on! How do you check the ethnicity thing?
