MET is only 40 I think
Hass BBA used video essay 6 minutes to replace interview. Hass admission officers did not disclose how many freshman students are going to enroll… based on Hass size, seems ~250-300 first year enrollment, considering UCB yield rate ~46% —540-650 students will get HASS BBA offers fall 2024 enrollment? compared to Umich Ross- freshman 500 enrollment - in 2023, 818 got acceptance letter… Hass is a smaller.
Someone similar to you got rejected by Berkeley but got into UCLA regents and Harvard. Another person similar to you got into Berkeley regents and rejected everywhere else except Harvard. Don’t give up.
Does Berkeley (or the other UCs) request senior year mid year grades from high school counselors?
No, Senior grades are not part of the normal application review.
my daughter underwent an augmented review and they requested Senior year - first semester grades.
at UCLA
UCLA != Cal
Augmented/Supplemental reviews and submitting Senior grades are not part of the “normal” application review so that is an exception.
You mean UCLA < Cal
Few students from Economic major received an email stating that there decision will be released on 8th March. How? Does it mean an acceptance ?
No, I think that some majors come out earlier than others.
For Freshman applicants, UC Berkeley stated March 28 as their decision date. Not sure why Economics majors were given a different date.
UC Berkeley does early admits for Freshman in February and then the rest of the Freshman applicants will hear on the March 28 decision date unless they plan to change their decision procedure this year? Historically only 2 decision dates: Early admits and Regular decision.
well, instead of thinking these are admissions, we can equally assume they may be rejections.
On March 28, Berkeley should be notifying everyone at once - admitted, waitlisted and rejected students.
Could it be that the econ kids were applying into a specialty program at Haas (ex. MET, GMP)?
Anyone get an email about some first-year programs offered at UCB?
Yep!
