Unbelievable. I’m glad I have you guys to relate to in all this.
I wonder what the breakdown is of international students, in state students, out of state students… Does anyone else think in state california community college students are at more of an advantage now? I feel this is true, but I also think they are unwilling to discriminate like that when picking… maybe that’s why it’s taking so long.
UCLA waitlist got an update email today I hear. Its not good but perhaps these schools are much different as UCLA got many waves.

@nia1996 yes, from ccc. I don’t know about the highest chances. I think depends on what goals they have now. If the goal is to increase profit and cover losses from housing, deferrals etc. - they’ll focus on international students (those who agree to go back and pay for online classes) and on out of state (if they haven’t applied or have minimal financial aid). If that’s the case, I think there will be 2 waves. Second wave will be taking spots of those who declined paying 50k for online classes.
Maybe they have another goals, who knows.
Speaking of international students, if they’ll have problems with visas, I think UCB will allow them to graduates online.
So are they only accepting for Spring 2020 now? seems awful last minute for a new admit to be able to register and actually get into classes for Fall semester…
I am waitlisted too and they are yet to get back to me… kinda concerned. Tried calling earlier today but no response.
