@djbassbaby the traditional pathway is just starting fall on campus as opposed to global edge and fpf. It seems as if all the wl students offered admission today were only offered fpf and global edge as pathways hinting at the fact that they may have already enrolled enough students for the traditional start and they didn’t underenroll as much as everyone anticipated. Seeing as I believe we only have the traditional pathway im hoping the yield works in all of our favors!
@gman20011 I am hoping due to the fact that '22 was one of the lowest freshman acceptance years they will take more transfers. Still scary though I thought they would take a lot more freshman waitlist students than the number of students taken.
@gman20011 Yeah its been rough lol, got finessed by UCLA with TAP and all classes done. Still waiting on USC(they are significantly behind), though I got into all other UCs. I am really hoping I get into USC or Cal though, I appealed the UCLA decision even with a .5% reversal rate lol.
@hsebastianm From what I have seen there are generally 2 waves one in the end of the first week of June and a second one in mid-late June. Though some years like last year it can get fuzzy where they took very few people off the list but a few years ago they were taking over 50% off.
@heyigotnoclue I got rejected from my dream school where I had all my classes completed and TAP certification lol. USC is 3+ weeks behind in terms of transfer decisions and I really don’t want to go to any other UC. I will be truly devastated if I don’t get into Cal.
guys I think since a small group of freshmen got off the waiting list that would be a good shot for transfer students that’s what is thought. I know it doesn’t really relate to each other but still. what you guys think?
Hi Everyone,
As many of you here I am waitlisted as a transfer student to UC Berkeley, for Political Science Major. 3.92 GPA, strong essays, a lot of international work and life experience, all GE courses completed, including all the Political Science classes required for the major. I just submitted my opt in form with a small essay, but no grades. Good luck to all of us.
So has anyone been officially accepted off the waitlist? I’ve been looking around this thread and haven’t seen any acceptances yet (unless I missed any).
They have to wait until June 1 until accepted applicants SIR. Then they can see how much waitlisted applicants they need to fill their enrollment goals.
@“UCLA22CogSci/LINGCS” Hey I just wanted to ask where you got the waitlist statistics for transfers with the 40-50% range, ive seen pretty high numbers but those are usually for freshman!
@“UCLA22CogSci/LINGCS” - ah shoot im so sorry ;-; is UCLA ur dream school?
i have 5-6 more schools left so we will see where I end up. Rn it looks like im heading to UCLA but i want to go to Emory since they gave me a full…idk its very TBA rn but HAAS is insane so i want to go there for business, u know?
