Berkeley Haas has got the edge here, though not be a mile.
Accoring to USNWR, Haas is more prestigious than Stern. According to Businessweek’s ranking of undergrad business, Haas is superior to Stern, in general, and is ranked number 3 in the nation as the best feeder school to top MBA programs. Stern did not even make in the top 10 in that area. But Stern is an excellent business school and a degree from there is highly respected in WS, NYC.
Choose anywhere you like best. But personally, I would go for Haas.

it really depends on what area of business you wanna do

if you want to go into finance and investment banking, stern is the clear choice with its many opportunities for internships on Wall Street

Haas is overall a very good business school and a Haas degree will look a lot better than a Stern degree in any other area of business

so bascially you need to decide where you plan to work after you graduate. if you want to go east, go to NYU, but if you wanna work in the west coast, go to Cal

personally, i would take the chance and go to Cal
