UC Berkeley Portal Astrology Discussion 2024

im a transfer student waiting for decisions and have been thoroughly entertained by this thread so far – out of curiosity do yall know when this portal astrology thing starts to matter for transfers?

Anyone that applied to the College of ED try this? I keep seeing letters and science

D24 rejected by UCLA and UCSD, applied to CDSS gets forbidden and ID 304. Is that a good sign?

One more interesting thing about the poll:

for IP addresses originating outside the US, it breaks down to 85/15 rejected/accepted.

This seems consistent with the idea that it is harder for internationals to be admitted.

That’s the idea. Now we just have to wait until Thursday for the theory to be confirmed or denied.

It certainly is much harder for internationals to get admitted

Is the withdraw method updated or accurate? I got fft but forbidden and can see my student ID.

the fall program for first semester thing on the portal is really tripping me out. I have all the other signs (forbidden, student id on cas, etc) but i dont see fall program for first semester under helpful links. any idea what it may mean?

are u L&S tho?

nah im not, im haas

The change from fft to ftt is supposed to happen 1-2 days before results release according to the followers of portal astrology

does the forbidden stuff work for people that applied haas too?

Operating theory is that the Fall program item is for L&S applicants only

Forbidden item seems to be a tell for any of the schools

Does every l&s applicant have the Fall programs link?

Has anyone gotten in despite having the bad message (historically)

Yes. FPF is only available for College Letters and Science students. My kid did the fpf program.

How are people finding about ID(303 vs 304)?

There is one user on reddit saying that they did, but like that is one user and if others did they would have posted to the 2023 forum

go to https://bcsweb.is.berkeley.edu/ and see what your ID is
