UC Berkeley Portal Astrology Discussion 2024

Has there been a single report of someone who claims that they consistently had the “rejected” sign that then turned into consistently having the “accepted” sign?

Absent this, I don’t think there’s much support for the idea that some majors are still being processed wrt these signs.

When I try loging into CampusSolutions, I get the: login&errorCode=111&languageCd=ENG in my link, and it just kicks me back to the sign in page (not “your account hasnt been created yet”, just refreshes the page essentially). I can also log into my CalNet account manager and have a Net ID (former student since I registered for concurrent enrollment). What tf am I supposed to make of this?

Former students (or anyone else who already has an account) will not be able to get the forbidden / not authorized indicator. You have to wait.

If the FFT / FTT indicator works again this year, it should work for you, but it is not expected to start working until a couple days before decisions are released.

i applied political economy which is impacted and i got forbidden

bump on public health: anyone get forbidden?

it doesn’t “mean” anything because literally nothing has been confirmed yet. the decisions aren’t out til this thursday. please stop spreading misinformation

I’m just following the video information from last year astrology, because that’s why this particular blog was created for. The regular Berkeley 2028 is some place else for those that don’t want to know.

did anyone else who applied to rausser get forbidden?

last year was anyone that had forbidden and campus solutions ID waitlisted or rejected

This is interesting because most people who already have IDs (summer sessions or have one created) are able to sign in to campus solutions. Are you signing in w/ ur MAP credentials? Also what does your cal net account manager show upon signing in?

I looked through all of last years thread (kind of embarrassed to admit that lol) and didn’t see anyone who had forbidden plus ID get rejected or waitlisted

It’s understood that you are just trying to help explain. But it would technically be more correct to say something like “it has been associated with rejection or waitlist,” rather than “it means rejection,” for a few reasons,

  • in the past, “not authorized” was also consistent with waitlist.
  • we don’t know for sure if it will be correlated with rejection or waitlist this year as it was last year.
  • and, there is no intent on UCB’s part to “mean” anything by it… it’s simply an indicator that has been historically associated with a decision, not a communication on the part of UCB

Again, it’s understood that you are simply trying to be helpful, and that’s appreciated :+1:

lol i looked through a lot of it too… do u know when ppl started to see a change in source code like the ftt and fft thing last year?? like how many days before decisions were released

I’m asking the same question!!! pls tell me not yet

two days, tomorrow it might change assuming it is not patched. People are probably checking it pretty often so if there is a change I’m sure its going to go around fast

My son is a 2023 EECS grad and his id starts with 303

Perhaps student IDs are consecutive numbers, this year they’ve run out of numbers that start with 303, and are starting in on 304?

Do the 303 numbers have a high next digit (like 9) and the 304 numbers have a low next digit?

My son’s ID starts with 303 and he has had the same ID since taking classes during high school (in 2022), so I don’t think it has anything to do with major or college.
