Still just speculating but here’s my hypothesis:
Forbidden+access to apply.berkeley.edu/portal/admitted-student = acceptence
Forbidden+NO access to apply.berkeley.edu/portal/admitted-student = waitlist
Not authorized = rejected
Is there anyone who has not authorized that can access the portal/admitted-student address (not the one that comes up first on search results, but the one that you get to through your logged in portal)?
Since acceptance is usually less than 20% and we have more than 30% with forbidden, I’m assuming some fo the forbidden this year are waitlisted.

if i’m not mistaken i think you said u also applied to rausser right? by any chance ru also oos? maybe it’s only showing up for certain programs/for in state ppl? i cld be wrong LOL.

This is the wrong address. I did the same thing at first. You have to follow the first post and change the web address once you’re already in your portal.
