hi guys! i remember worrying about the portal astrology & talking about it with friends (i believe it’s the exact same as last year) and now i’m a first-year at cal. everyone who got forbidden was accepted and i believe everyone who got accepted should be getting forbidden & the forbidden and not authorized thing was the best metric to tell if you were accepted or not. i if i remember correctly the whole true / false thing was different for students who were admitted and who weren’t but i don’t think it served as an indicator as to whether you got waitlisted or not – i could be wrong though, taking a look at the 2023 portal astrology forum should be accurate as the patterns seem to be very familiar compared to last year.
as for the people on here who are paranoid about getting rescinded for checking this stuff – you’re totally fine i heard 0 issues about this last year. good luck and go bears!
click withdraw application button. then there will pop up a page asking you why you want to withdraw. look at the code of this page and go to RETIRED. Just above the RETIRED you’ll see either false false true or false true true. FTT - accepted, FFT -reject/WL
Last year, waitlisted people retained the ability to withdraw, while rejected people lost the withdraw option in their portal. I do not know if anyone has lost the withdraw option this year, though.
