<p>ugh to be honest i could care less if i get regents. i mean dont get me wrong it would be a huge help, but i really just want to know my admissions status above anything :l unfortunately i probably dont have a chance at regents cause i have a 3.7-3.8ish GPA :/</p>
<p>Looking at previous years threads, it looks like regents will not be announced until sometime in May, after the decisions are released.

<p>I think they might be talking about actual regent decisions in that thread, instead of the initial invitation letting you know you are eligible to apply. I could be wrong though</p>
<p>Yeah idk guys. Sorry about getting everybody excited, but two separate people at admissions did tell me they were being announced. There are an awful lot of people on here with good GPAs that it would be strange if none of us were given it, although I have no idea how many they award. </p>
<p>They invite a lot more people than actually get awarded it so I’m sure at least a few people will get at least an invite. I’ll call Monday and ask. </p>
<p>The recipients for freshman regents were announced yesterday with their admission decision so I’m assuming that’s what the person u spoke to was referring to.</p>

<p>From previous years it seems that between the 5the to the 15th. Seems like each year the date the invitations vary by a few days. </p>

<p>I just received an email invitation for UCLA Regents last night, but I have yet to hear from UC Berkeley.</p>

<p>Well admissions come out on the 25th so I’m guessing we will hear something about regents then. But no one really seems to know for sure. I don’t know why.</p>
<p>I emailed a lady who works in the scholarship department at Cal about this. Ill let you guys know when I hear back. I am getting antsy. I just want to know if I’m in or not. </p>

You hear anything? At this point I’m guessing regents candidates are not being announced until admissions decisions are out, or only a small number of them were awarded and none of them were us…but if anyone hears anything let us know</p>
<p>Maybe Cal actually waits so they can give regents only to admitted students. Why doesn’t every UC do that?</p>
