UC Berkeley Rejection Appeal for Class of '24

Hi everyone!

I was recently rejected by UC Berkeley for Class of 2024, but I was thankfully accepted to USC. However, I am planning to write a rejection appeal due to financial reasons. My intended major is Business, and I have completed most of my prerequisites to apply for Haas because of dual enrollment at my local community college.

I would be fine with attending USC but it is expensive for my family and I would have to retake the classes for my major again. What are some reasons to include in my rejection appeal? Thank you.

Financial is not a good reason to appeal. USC has pretty good finaid for low income students, and Cal knows that. Moreover, if you really want a biz degree from UC, they think UC-Riverside is a fine choice.
