Guys just remember that whatever’s meant to be will be and getting rejected is not the end of the world. Of course it’s great to be accepted and we’d all be so thrilled but hey maybe Cal is not where we’ll end up succeeding and maybe you have a chance at being the best somewhere else rather than just being average or even below average at Cal. Just a friendly reminder to everyone including me. Be proud of yourselves regardless of what the portal says in a few hours xx

@choukevin yes same I name dropped Berkeley way too many times on my app for them to do me dirty idk what UCLA likes in me

@choukevin I worked with a Berkeley admissions official, and he suggested being specific about my experiences which made me chose my major (gje program is pretty unique to Berkeley) + my ECs (some of white took place at Berkeley)
My professor legit let us out of class an hour early cause everyone’s too nervous about decisions today to focus

@choukevin yeah I applied to UCLA just for the hell of it and I was shooook, because they actually read essays and ecs and my app is one berkeley reference after another
I opened my UCLA decision in my stats class, prof dapped me up because he went to UCLA lol
